Redcocks' Couple over Vietnam
The theme of the painting is the A-4F Skyhawk (Douglas)/Bu. 154190, a veteran warrior during Vietnam conflicts.
The aircraft's costume and colours indicate that this picture comes from 1970-71 when it's squadron, VA-22 "Fighting Redcocks", was operating from the USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31).
